This novelty software program allows you to modify and change your desktop's look and feel in almost any way. Changing your wallpaper, replacing your traditional icons with animated and funny images, or inserting little helpful applications are now very easy tasks thanks to DesktopX.
This program manages basically two types of elements: objects and widgets. Objects act as part of the design you are creating, and may include images, animations, data, etc. They mainly replace the shortcuts, providing easy access to your applications. DesktopX includes a set of predefined objects that you can use in your designs, pointing to functions like DVD, E-mail, My Computer, Object Folder, or Microsoft Outlook and Word.
